The Osbournes, better known as the First Family of Darkness, reunite for a fun and quirky paranormal show where they critique and rate video footage and clips of possible UFO sightings, Bigfoot, Poltergeist activity and ghostly apparitions that have been caught on camera.
I was never one that was interested in the Reality TV craze but, I have always had a secret liking for Ozzy’s music (well I guess the cat’s out of the bag now). So, the only reality series that I ever watched was The Osbournes. And although they have been through their fair share of ups and downs, at the end of the day they are just a quirky, fun loving family. Needless to say, I was pretty excited when I saw that they were coming out with a new show.
For now, only eight one-hour long episodes are in the cards. Jack has his own paranormal series called Portals to Hell that is currently in its second season. Jack investigates with fellow Paranormal Investigator Katrina Weidman (A&E Paranormal State & Paranormal Lockdown with former Ghost Adventures team member, Nick Groff). Jack has used some footage from his previous investigations on Want to Believe in order to convince his parents of the existence of the Paranormal.
The majority of the footage features very cool video clips that will get you to wondering, “What on earth am I really seeing here?” They have included some cute behind the scenes of the trio speaking to each other and joking around between takes as well as some unbelievably cute interactions with the family dogs.
I really do not think that the show is meant to be taken too seriously and I can see fans of the Osbournes liking the show, especially to see Ozzy. We have not seen him in quite awhile ever since his diagnosis of a genetic syndrome similar to that of Parkinson’s disease. He has aged somewhat, and it did give me a bit of a shock to see his obvious physical decline. But he is still quick witted and curses like a sailor.
So, guys to wrap this up, if you are in Paranormal shows and are just looking for something a bit more light-hearted, but still interesting to watch, you can check out The Osbournes Want to Believe on the Travel Channel every Sunday at 10pm.
